SACRED THYME ALCHEMY

LEAF & LORE
Plant wisdom. Earth magic. Seasonal ritual. The old ways, lived rather than performed.

A living exploration of plants, place, ritual and the turning seasons.
THIS ISN’T A HERBALISM COURSE.
Leaf & Lore grew from a simple idea that there is a difference between knowing about a plant and actually knowing a plant.
You can read that mugwort is associated with dreams. That rosemary has been woven through remembrance and protection. That chamomile has travelled through medicine, folklore and magic for centuries.
What happens when you spend time with them. When you grow them. Touch them. Taste them. Make things with them. Research their stories. Notice where they appear in folklore, medicine, witchcraft and ordinary domestic life. Occasionally, discover that what you were told about them is complete bollocks.
That is Leaf & Lore.
A place to explore plants through history, folklore, practical use, ritual, magic, the senses and our own lived experience. Not memorizing correspondences. Not collecting another list of this herb is good for abundance.
Actually developing a relationship with the green world around us.

SO WHAT DO WE ACTUALLY DO?
GATHER. MEET THE PLANT. SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
Leaf & Lore is a little bit plant club, a little bit circle, a little bit coven and a whole lot of curiosity. Each month, we gather around one chosen plant.
We begin with a simple meetup where you collect the plant we'll be spending the month with. Then you take it home and begin your own relationship with it.
Grow it. Drink it. Cook with it. Sit beside it. Research it. Make something with it. Dream with it. Ignore it for three days and then remember it exists. There is no gold star for being the best plant person.
Throughout the month we stay connected in our private group, sharing discoveries, questions, folklore, experiments, strange coincidences, spectacular successes and things that went completely sideways.
Then at the end of the month we come back into circle. We share what we discovered and from there, we go deeper. That might mean a guided plant journey, breathwork, ritual, meditation, making something with our hands, exploring folklore or magic, sitting in ceremony, or something entirely different depending on the plant, the season and what feels alive in the room.
I hold the space and guide the journey, but I am not interested in being the guru at the front of it. Leaf & Lore is cocreated.
There is room for your knowledge here. Your questions. Your experience. Your scepticism. Your stories. And if you have something you want to bring to the circle or teach us, there is room for that too.
You don't need a green thumb. Or the need to call yourself a witch. You don't need to know the Latin name of everything growing in your garden. You just need to be curious enough to meet a plant and see what happens when you give it your attention.
